This was stated in an interview with TASS by the head of the second department of the CIS countries of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Alexey Polishchuk.
According to the diplomat, Beijing’s initiative is based on “Chinese wisdom and a dialectical approach from the general to the particular” and is more realistic than the “ultimatum and dead-end Zelensky formula.”
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov announced the advantages of the plan proposed by China for Ukraine.
It was also reported that Chinese President Xi Jinping discussed the situation around Ukraine in a telephone conversation with US President Joe Biden.
