Red Bull driver Max Verstappen won the Spanish Grand Prix ahead of the two Mercedes of the British. Lewis Hamilton and George Russell.
The Dutchman won his fifth Grand Prix of the season in seven races. He consolidated his position as provisional leader of the world championship by collecting an additional 26 points to bring his total to 170. The eighth round of the Formula 1 World Championship will take place in Canada on June 9. For the first time this year, Lance Stroll finished right ahead of his Red Bull teammate Sergio Pérez.
