According to Ibaraki Prefecture, the Kuji River flowing through Hitachi-Omiya City has a risk of inundation at the Tomioka Water Level Observatory, exceeding the 3 meter 50 cm flood level around 10:50 pm.
Ibaraki Prefecture is calling for strict vigilance as the risk of flooding is increasing in Hitachi Omiya City, Hitachi Ota City, Naka City, Hitachi City, and Tokai Village in the downstream.
