The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Fukushima River National Highway Office and Fukushima Local Meteorological Observatory announced at 10:20 am on March 13 that flooding occurred in Wada, Sukagawa City, upstream of the Abukuma River. Among the five alert levels, we announce the flood occurrence information corresponding to the highest level 5 and call for maximum alert.
In the Abukuma River in Fukushima Prefecture, flooding has already occurred in Echimo, Kagamiishi Town, Koriyama City, Motomiya City and Date City in Sukagawa City.
If the river is already flooded, it may be dangerous to go outside and evacuate, so we are calling to take maximum action to protect our lives, such as evacuating to the highest part of the building.
