After noon on the 30th, a former part-time worker who had previously worked at a ramen shop in Ota City, Gunma Prefecture, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder for stabbing the store manager with a knife.


The store manager later died, and the police decided to switch the charge to murder and investigate the details.

Shohei Fujii (31), an unemployed man from Ota City, was arrested.



According to the police, at around 0:10 pm on the 30th, at a ramen shop in Iida-cho, Ota City, Yosuke Mashita (42), the manager of a ramen shop in Kiryu City, was stabbed with a knife and tried to kill him, and he was suspected of attempted murder. I was arrested on the spot.



Mr. Mashimo was taken to the hospital, but he was stabbed multiple times in his neck and chest, and died about two and a half hours later.

Fujii had previously worked part-time at this store, and has admitted to the police investigation, saying, "There is no doubt."



In the future, the police will switch the suspicion to murder and investigate the details, such as whether there was any trouble between the two.
