In the case where a 64-year-old piano teacher was murdered in a house in Imabari City, Ehime Prefecture, police had arrested him on suspicion of assaulting the woman's second daughter on the day of the incident and tying the hands and feet of a junior high school student who was present at the scene. The suspect was re-arrested on suspicion of murdering a woman.

The suspect who was re-arrested was Masamichi Sakakibara (34), an unemployed man from Saijo City, Ehime Prefecture.According to police, in January this year, he broke into a house in Matsumoto-cho, Imabari City, and stole Koyuki Tomita, a piano teacher who lives in the house. (64) was suspected of murder and home invasion after he was killed by slashing him in the neck with a knife.

In this incident, police arrested the suspect, who was accused of assaulting Tomita's second daughter near the scene on the day of the incident, including pulling her arm, and tying the hands and feet of a junior high school student who had come to take piano lessons. An investigation into the circumstances of his death was also underway.

As a result, it was determined that the suspect Sakakibara had apparently purchased the bloody knife found at the crime scene at a store in Saijo City three days before the incident, and he was suspected of being involved in Tomita's murder.8 He was arrested again on the same day.

According to the police, they are keeping silent about the investigation.

Last November, Tomita's second daughter, who is in her 30s and lived with Tomita, consulted with the local police station about the suspect, saying, ``I'm in trouble because he won't accept my bid to break up,'' and the police are investigating the incident. We are looking into the details further.
