Director Takashi Yamazaki of “Godzilla-1.0” receives awards from his hometown of Nagano Prefecture and Matsumoto City. Yamazaki became the first Japanese film to win the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects for 'Godzilla' Yamazaki received a certificate of commendation from Governor Moriichi Abe and Mayor Yoshinao Gagumo.
