The Burkina Faso team could have become the second team qualified for the next African Cup of Nations (CAN 2021), just before that of Algeria, this November 16, 2020 in Malawi.

But the Burkinabè will have to wait at least next March and the end of the qualifiers (5th and 6th days) to get their place at the "CAN 2021"

Despite many scoring chances, the Stallions could not do better than a 0-0 draw on the synthetic field of the Flames, this Monday, during the 4th day.

Bertrand Traoré and his teammates have multiplied their attempts against a Malawian selection, however far from passive.

But, despite a pleasant game, there was therefore no goal scored.

South Sudan takes revenge

A goal, there was one scored during the other meeting of this group B, played in Nairobi, between South Sudan and Uganda (1-0).

It is the work of Tito Okello and offers a very precious victory to the South Sudanese since it revives the Bright Stars and erases the 0-1 setback in the first leg in Uganda.

Ugandans and Burkinabè will face each other on Matchday 5 and will have the opportunity to correct the situation.
