“As of the end of the business day on August 30, Gazprom Export LLC did not receive full payments for gas supplied to Engie (France) in July under existing contracts,” the company noted.
Gazprom emphasized that, according to the decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, gas supply is prohibited if the buyer has not made payment in full within the contractual payment period.
It is specified that Engie was informed of the complete suspension of gas supplies starting from September 1, 2022.
