The ambassador spoke about this in an interview with RIA Novosti.

"As far as I know, at the moment the parties are actively negotiating on technical and commercial issues, discussing a model of cooperation," the agency's interlocutor said.

The ambassador added that the Power of Siberia-2 is an important project for deepening cooperation between Moscow and Beijing in the energy sector.

Earlier, Gazprom reported an increase in Russian network gas supplies to China via the Power of Siberia since mid-November in connection with the signing of an additional agreement.

From the beginning of 2024, the figures will increase to 30 billion cubic meters.
