This batch of art works will be transited through Duisburg, Germany, and arrive at their destination, Paris, France, 20 days later, where they will be exhibited there.

  It is reported that the art works transported by this train are from Chinese calligrapher and painter Chen Jialing, mainly including "Spring Snow in Qinyuan", "Autumn Moon over Pinghu", "Nanping Evening Bell" and "Niannujiao·Red Cliff Nostalgia" created by him in Shanghai, Jingdezhen, Jiangxi and other places. and other Chinese paintings, as well as ceramic crafts with pomegranate, iris and lotus themes.

  "Shipping art is different from ordinary goods. After receiving the shipping task, multiple departments of ours contacted professional art packaging teams to go to Shanghai and Jingdezhen, Jiangxi to check and receive the goods, and then transported them to Yiwu for loading and shipping. We also purchased insurance throughout the process ." Tong Dianli, deputy director of the Yiwu Sales Department of Hangzhou Railway Logistics Center, said that unlike previous transportation methods that were disintegrated and split midway, this China-Europe train is shipped as a whole trip, which can ensure that cultural artworks reach their destinations safely and stably.

  It is reported that the art works transported this time will be displayed at the "Chen Jialing: Waterfront Paintings" art exhibition in Paris, France.

As one of the key cultural exchange projects between China and France in the "Running" series, the art exhibition will be on display from April 1 to April 22, 2024, with a total of 41 pieces on display. It aims to promote China and France through art exhibitions. cultural exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations.

  This year marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France.

Today, trains of "Yi-Xin-Europe" China-Europe freight trains cross mountains and seas, traveling between Yiwu, Zhejiang, China, and France.

According to Yiwu Customs statistics, the total value of Yiwu's import and export to France in 2023 was 4.69 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 12.7%.
