In 2013, oilfield exploration discovered the Dongping Gas Field. Through the implementation of “vertical wells + horizontal wells” three-dimensional production and bedrock reservoir fracturing technology research, the production capacity construction of 1.15 billion cubic meters was completed in one year, and the average daily production per well reached 145,000 cubic meters, the annual output of oil field natural gas reached a peak of 6.89 billion cubic meters in 2014.

So far, the oilfield has basically formed a development pattern with Sebei loose sandstone gas reservoir, Baxian complex fault block gas reservoir in the south, and Dongping bedrock fractured gas reservoir as the main development.
