Beijing, 4 Apr (Zhongxin Net) -- "A person, after not working for a period of time, will get used to a certain inertia. Therefore, Feng Xiaogang does not allow himself to be lazy, making online dramas, movies, and actors, he hopes to put himself in a state of work.

Recently, Feng Xiaogang was busy promoting the movie "Loyal Dog Bagong", one of the most famous IPs in the history of world cinema, and finally ushered in the Chinese version. A good story is the code that impresses Feng Xiaogang, and such a story about loyalty and companionship is destined to move him, a dog lover.

Some people ask, does Feng Xiaogang still have appeal? "Times are developing, more young audiences are growing up, and they may not be very familiar with what I used to shoot." This is a generation of directors serving a generation of audiences, and I have served our generation of audiences quite well. ”

Of course, Feng Xiaogang did not give up communicating with young audiences. On the contrary, he wants to know what these young people are thinking, barrage culture, "double speed" watching dramas, what are the reasons behind these choices?

During the interview, he asked the reporter: "You are also a young person, how do you usually watch dramas?" "If you have the opportunity to interview young directors, be sure to ask me, do they want to be barraged on their work, or people watch his work at double speed?"

Nowadays, artificial intelligence has become a hot topic, Feng Xiaogang also closely follows the trend of the times, and the upcoming movie "Do Not Disturb 3" is to tell the story of intelligent people.

The movie "Do Not Disturb 3" directed by Feng Xiaogang is currently on file and will start filming soon.

So, will the film and television industry be impacted by artificial intelligence? Feng Xiaogang said: "Doesn't the crew have a coordinating job? It is to make shooting plans, count actor schedules, etc., and now they are all done by machines, so many co-ordinators are unemployed. ”

"But I don't think machines can completely replace humans. For example, a screenplay, it can make a medium-level script, but it may not be enough to make a particularly unique script, of course, maybe one day it will work. Feng Xiaogang added.

Although he will try to keep himself in a working state, Feng Xiaogang confessed that he would not work particularly frequently, and he still had to have time to enjoy life.

After pushing himself all his life, Feng Xiaogang, who is over sixty years old, has learned not to force himself and spend his time on what he prefers.

The following is Feng Xiaogang's self-statement↓

The truth and love of amateur actors

The reason why I took this movie (referring to "Hachiko the Loyal Dog") is actually very simple. I had seen the American version of the movie before and liked the story very much, plus I myself liked dogs, when director Xu Ang and iQiyi's Yaning found me together, hoping that I could play a role in the movie.

This story is about loyalty and companionship, I think it's very good, after reading the script, I found that the adaptation landed very well, and it became a very Chinese story.

The background of the story of the Chinese version of "Loyal Dog Bagong" was chosen in Chongqing, and I asked the director because of this, why are there all Chongqing people around, just me a Beijinger? The director said that he wanted to show a foreigner living in a different place, there may be a little loneliness in his heart, and his family members are all from Chongqing, so this person may sometimes talk to dogs more than to people, such a situation.

I previously took in a stray dog who stayed in our house for 16 years and passed away on the third day of the Lunar New Year. I found that dogs can actually observe the kindness of humans to them from our eyes and every move. Before filming, the crew arranged for me to interact with the eight barrels in the movie for a while, take it out for a walk when it was okay, feed it, and even sleep at night It was with me. So when I got to the shooting scene, maybe it was a little wary of others, but it was relaxed for me.

I'm an amateur actor, so when acting, I may show more of my true feelings. For example, crying and laughing, if I am not touched, it will be difficult for me to shed tears, and if I don't find it ridiculous, it will be difficult for me to laugh.

But a professional actor is different, he has a threshold and a technique. If the script prompts him to laugh at this time, a professional actor can laugh, but I will laugh silly.

A generation of directors serves a generation of audiences

In the past two years, everyone has also seen some online dramas I filmed, mainly trying to put myself in a state of work. Because if you don't shoot for a long time, will people be lazy? A person, after a period of non-work, gets used to a certain inertia.

I've been pushing myself all my life, but at this age, I want to do what I like to do and not force myself.

What do you say about the appeal of the three words "Feng Xiaogang" compared to before? I think times are evolving, more young audiences have grown up, and they may not be very familiar with what I have filmed in the past. This is a generation of directors serving a generation of audiences, and I have served our generation of audiences quite well. Now I also see some young directors and shoot some things that young people like more, which is a very normal thing.

Speaking of young people, I've always had a doubt. For example, when we carefully shoot a picture, it may take a long time to work hard for lighting and composition, but now young people see things flying barrage, and the whole picture is full of barrage. Sometimes I think what is the point of this, making people want to shoot a picture very exquisitely, isn't it over when the big white light is shot? Anyway, the screen is full of barrages, and no one cares about this.

I also wondered if there was a generation gap between me and young people. Now there is a word called "double speed" to watch the drama, for example, we will require actors to speak naturally, but after double speed, some actors will talk like machine guns, do people in life talk like this?

So, can the actors' lines also be left without work? Anyway, you don't have to think about the rhythm of your speech, because the movie is fast-forwarded when it plays.

Our conversations in life should be thoughtful, you have a question for me, I have to digest it, think about it, there is a pause. So when we were filming, we often told the actors that you should pay attention to the rhythm of the performance and have a change in rhythm.

I'm curious to know if these directors who are now the same age as the audience who play barrage and watch dramas at double speed are willing to be put on the barrage on their own works, or if people watch his works at double speed. Is there such a gap between these young directors and the audience?

Creators need to have a life

Whether I am a director or an actor, my criteria for choosing a script are the same, that is, there is a good story, and the characters in it are relatively full and multifaceted.

Now the Chinese film and television industry is developing quite well, and there are many very capable directors and actors. Some people will also ask how Chinese films should go global? The answer is simple, your movie is good, and it will naturally go to the world.

Sometimes others recommend us to watch a foreign movie, but in fact, people don't come here to advertise, because someone sees it and thinks they like him and will recommend it to others. I think if the Chinese film is made well, the world will accept the film.

As for whether the difference in thinking between East and West has an impact? I think there are no obstacles, there is not such a big gap as imagined, movies are about telling stories around people, such as love for parents, love for children, these are the same all over the world.

Next, in addition to promoting the movie "Loyal Dog Hachiko", I am preparing to shoot "Do Not Disturb 3", which will probably be completed in three months of 6, 7 and 8. Then I haven't thought about it farther afield, which is probably what I can think about this year and next year. The world is changing so fast that you simply don't know what's going to happen next year.

However, I definitely don't work very often, and I still have to have time to enjoy life. Whether it's a director, an actor or a screenwriter, if you're in the film crew every day and shooting every day, then your life is too narrow. (End)
