For those more interested in the entertainment than the game itself, the halftime show is the climax of the NFL final Super Bowl.

The halftime show, one of the biggest stages an artist can stand on, was taken this year by 34-year-old r'n'b star Rihanna, standing on a floating platform.

No guest games

The fact that Rihanna has not been on stage since 2016 was not noticed.

She delivered her hit medley with no worries from "Bitch better have my money," via snippets of songs like "Only girl (In the world)," "We found love" and "Umbrella," dressed in red in front of white-clad, well-coordinated dancers.

Unlike many other halftime shows, however, there were no guest appearances or surprises, which in itself was perhaps a little surprising.

Finished with "Diamonds"

The performer confirmed that she is pregnant through one of her representatives after the show, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

She had her first child last May.

"Diamonds" had to end the show in front of fireworks - see a bit of the closing number in the clip.
