The end of the holidays for some and the beginning for others.

This fifth weekend of the holidays will be marked by the traditional “chassé-croisé” between Julyists and Augustians, with heavy traffic from Thursday July 28 in the Rhône Valley.

Traffic, which was particularly dense on Friday and Saturday, will remain steady until Monday August 1 on the main axes of the network.

A Black Classified Saturday

According to Bison Futé, with regard to departures, the first major difficulties are thus expected from this Friday, July 29, classified in red.

However, it is the day of Saturday July 30, classified black for its part, which is likely to be the busiest in traffic in the whole metropolis.

For returning vacationers, the weekend also promises to be busy, but only in a large southeast quarter.

Traffic lanes in the rest of the territory will be classified as orange.

During this “crossover”, it is recommended to travel outside the hottest periods, to carry enough water and to take multiple breaks along the route.
