This weekend marks the start of the spring school holidays for zone C. Traffic in the direction of departures will be difficult in Île-de-France on Friday and Saturday. The traffic jams that Ile-de-France residents are accustomed to will be made worse by vacation departures, particularly Friday evening.

Zone C, which brings together the academies of Créteil, Montpellier, Paris, Toulouse and Versailles, begins its spring vacation from this Friday evening. Bison futé has placed Île-de-France in yellow and announces more intense traffic than usual in the department, and more particularly around Paris, in the direction of departures.

The numerous recurring traffic jams linked to usual activity will be aggravated by the first departures on vacation. Until the early evening, traffic will be difficult towards the tolls of the A10 and A6 motorways. A peak in traffic jams is also expected from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Saturday April 6, departing from Île-de-France, Bison futé is planning yellow again. Traffic will also be heavy towards the A10 and A6 motorways. These roads will be congested from mid-morning on these roads and traffic jams will last until mid-afternoon. The A13 motorway will also experience traffic difficulties from mid-morning.

The weekend of April 13 and 14 rather calm

On Sunday, traffic is forecast to be green throughout France. Apart from the Ile-de-France department, the entire rest of the country is also placed in green by Bison futé, Friday April 5 and Saturday April 6. 

Traffic will be disrupted again on Friday April 12 and Saturday April 13, according to Bison futé, which has placed Île-de-France in yellow. During this second holiday weekend, traffic in the rest of France will be green according to initial estimates from the National Road Information Center.
