Children and Families Agency compiles trial calculations of contribution amount by annual income for “Support Subsidy System”. By 2028, people with an annual income of 6 million yen will be paying about 1,000 yen per month.
For those with 10 million yen, it will be approximately 800 yen. The government will provide 600 billion yen in the first year of 2026. The plan is to collect 1 trillion yen from fiscal year onwards. Of this amount, the amount contributed by people who enroll in "employee insurance," such as office workers and civil servants, is determined according to their income.
