The situation in Tigray raises many questions.

In this province of northern Ethiopia, the federal government has been leading a military offensive against the TPLF, the Tigray Peoples Liberation Front, for almost two weeks.

Publicity

The conflict is worrying because the Tigrayans are powerful militarily, while the army of Addis-Adeba can count on the support of the Amhara region.

In a border area with Eritrea but also with Sudan, can the conflict become regional?

At the same time, other ethnic tensions are currently erupting in Ethiopia: should the international authorities intervene to extract the country from violence?
