Affected by the gale, the Qiongzhou Strait ro-ro passenger ship has not resumed navigation since it was suspended at 16:30 on October 16th, causing a large number of cross-sea vehicles to be stranded.
On the 18th, according to information from the Hainan Port and Shipping Department, the car parks in the Haikou Xinhai Port and Xiuying Port areas are currently full. There are about 600 trucks waiting in the port, and the number of waiting vehicles outside the port has increased to about 1,000.
