Since the beginning of this year, Guangdong Province and Hainan Province, Zhanjiang and Haikou have frequently interacted to further improve the communication and docking mechanism. Through extensive publicity of "booked cross-sea", they have reasonably guided vehicles to travel during off-peak hours, reducing on-site congestion and queuing times during peak periods. The Qiongzhou Strait is also in transportation With the volume reaching a new high, the queuing time has been significantly reduced year-on-year.

Xuwen County is one of the main battlegrounds for the Qiongzhou Strait Spring Festival Transport. In order to maintain the waiting order and on-site service guarantee, Xuwen County planned and arranged control points and personnel in advance, strictly implemented the 24-hour duty system, and activated road control points 25 , investing more than 500 law enforcement personnel. Physically isolate the roads entering the port, set up temporary ferries outside the port, and improve the support capacity of the infrastructure. Strengthen night patrols and inspections to crack down on the "party leading the way." During the period when drivers and passengers were stranded in large areas, a warm-hearted activity was carried out to distribute bread, mineral water, dumplings, etc. to stranded drivers and passengers. At the peak, more than 1,000 volunteers were invested.

The return peak is about to begin, coupled with periodic heavy fog and other bad weather, the Qiongzhou Strait transportation pressure is huge. The Guangdong Provincial Department of Transportation stated that it will continue to strengthen safety management, monitoring and early warning, capacity coordination, emergency response and land transportation organization and management, continue to strengthen information release, and guide vehicle personnel to travel in an orderly manner.
