On May 11, the Tibet Autonomous Region Sports Bureau and the China Mountaineering Association hosted the 2020 spring mountaineering garbage cleaning and recycling ceremony at the Mount Everest Base Camp at more than 5,200 meters above sea level in Tingri County, Tibet.
It is reported that the main thing to clean up below 6500 meters above sea level is domestic garbage, and the main thing to clean up above 6500 meters is mountain climbing ropes, used tents, and oxygen tanks. From April 20th, the Tibet Autonomous Region Mountaineering Team, the Autonomous Region Mountaineering Association, Tibet Sacred Mountain Mountaineering Adventure Service Co., Ltd., Tibet Lhasa Himalaya Mountaineering Guide School and other communities have jointly carried out Mount Everest, Shishabangma Peak and Zhuoyou Peak.
