The event attracted nearly 2,000 contestants from Beijing, Guangdong, Macau, Heilongjiang, Yunnan and other places to participate in the mountaineering challenge and experience the beauty of Mount Fanjing, the "first peak in Wuling".

  The total length of this Fanjing Mountain Spring Climbing Race is 14.1 kilometers. The track is a combination of winding mountain roads and hiking trails. The competition lasts 6.5 hours.

The competition awards include age group awards, record-breaking awards, and group awards.

  At 9 o'clock, the competition started. The contestants started from the Lotus Square at the east gate of Mount Fanjing, ran for 9 kilometers along the winding mountain road, and then climbed a 5-kilometer hiking trail to reach the end of the race - Pudu Square of Mount Fanjing.

The hiking trail covers thousands of steps, and the altitude gradually climbs from 522 meters to 2248 meters.

  “The entire track design is very challenging. In fact, the winding mountain road in front has a lot of climbs. The steps in the back especially test the ability of the athletes’ legs to resist lactic acid. If the legs are sore, it is easy to be unable to run, and it is really difficult to run with so many steps. . But the scenery on the mountain is beautiful and it is still worth the challenge."   Fanjing Mountain, a world natural heritage site and a national nature reserve in China, is located at the junction of Jiangkou County, Yinjiang County and Songtao County in Tongren City, Guizhou Province. It is the main peak of the Wuling Mountains.

  Less than 2 hours after setting off, the finish line welcomed the runners crossing the line.

Zheng Wenrong from Kunming, Yunnan, won the first place in the women's group with a time of 1 hour, 50 minutes and 40 seconds, and Ren Ti from Zunyi, Guizhou came second with a time of 1 hour, 56 minutes and 08 seconds. Both players broke the previous record of 1 hour and 56 seconds. In the women's group meeting record of 1 hour, 25 seconds, Lin Juan from Guilin, Guangxi won the third place in the women's group; in the men's group, Ma Zhaojian from Zhaotong, Yunnan won the first place with a time of 1 hour, 35 minutes and 01 seconds, and Shi from Weining, Guizhou won the first place. Ai Ai finished second in 1 hour, 36 minutes and 52 seconds, and Liu Zhisen from Guangzhou, Guangdong finished third.
