The Palestinian theater "Yes Theater" participates in the fifth session of the Dual Theater Festival, which is organized by the theater administration in the Department of Culture in Sharjah, and its activities will be hosted by the Cultural Center in Dibba Al-Hisn, from February 13 to 17.
And the participation of the band, whose play “Wandering Horses” won the “Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi Award for Best Arab Theatrical Work” 2015, comes with a new play called “Pedro and the Captain”, inspired by a text with the same title of the writer and Uruguayan poet Mario Benedetti, which is directed by Ehab Zahida, and the performance of the performance include Raed Al-Shyoukhi and Muhammad Al-Titi.
And the play investigates a tormented, dramatic psychological way, to explore the reason and how the natural being transformed into a executioner, through a confrontation between two people, each of which has its strengths and weaknesses, and each has its own perspective and sensitivity towards morals, courage, cowardice, sacrifice and pain, betrayal and loyalty.
The theater group "Yes Theater" was founded in 2008, and won many Arab and international awards during its career, including the prize for the best theatrical work in the international theater competition in Italy in 2013, and the award for the best theatrical work at the Alexandria International Theater Festival in Egypt in 2019.
