The Qatar national team continued its campaign to successfully defend its title and reached the quarter-finals of the Asian Football Cup finals held on its home soil after ending the adventure of its Palestinian counterpart by beating them 2-1 on Monday at Al-Bayt Stadium in the eighth final.
