Tomorrow, Saturday, at 3:00 GMT (16:00), all eyes will turn to Lusail Stadium in the capital, Doha, where the final match of the Asian Football Cup will be held between the Qatari national team, the defending champions and Al-Diyafa, and its Jordanian counterpart, who is competing in the Asian final for the first time in its history.

The whistle for the start of the match sounds at six in the evening (18:00) Mecca and Qatar (host) time, and is officiated by Chinese referee Ma Ning.

The match will be broadcast on Arab, regional and international channels, led by the Qatari beIN Sports network, and the Qatari Al Kass channel on two channels (Extra 1 and Extra 2), including the Saudi SSC 1 and the Iraqi Al Rabaa channels.

This is the third purely Arab confrontation in the history of the Asian Cup, after the 1996 edition in which Saudi Arabia won the title at the expense of the Emirates, after the match ended in a goalless draw and the “Green” team decided it on penalties 4-2, and the 2007 edition in which Iraq was crowned champion after defeating Saudi Arabia. 1-0.

Qatar qualified for the final after a thrilling victory over Iran 3-2, while Jordan qualified with a historic victory over South Korea 2-0.

Qatar is led by Spanish coach Marquez Lopez, while Jordan is led by Moroccan coach Hussein Amouta.
