The Tokyo District Public Prosecutor's Special Investigation Department, on the 8th, accused the former deputy director of the Organizing Committee and the advertising giant Dentsu on suspicion of violating the Antimonopoly Act in a bid-rigging case related to the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics test competition. Four former executives of the event production company Cerespo, including the managing director, were arrested.



In response, the Association for the 2005 World Exposition has suspended Dentsu and Cerespo from participating in bidding for projects ordered by the Association for one year.



Regarding the arrest of former Dentsu executives, Osaka Prefecture took measures to suspend the eligibility of Dentsu and Cerespo to participate in the bidding on the 10th, and the Expo Association said that it followed the measures of the prefecture. .



According to the association, Dentsu has signed a license business contract to manage the right to use the official character "Myakumyaku" as one of the joint ventures, but this measure will not affect the contracts signed so far. about it.
