And yet, the actress had almost slammed the door of the franchise along the way, after the fourth opus, stifled by the weight of the celebrity that had brought her this role.

A revelation made by David Yates, director of the films from

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix as

Fantastic Beasts,

in an HBO special made to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the first film's release.

No turning back

“I think I was scared. I don't know if you had that feeling when you were like, 'It's forever now,' ”Emma Watson told Rupert Grint during the upcoming show on HBO Max. And indeed, the actor who played Ron Weasley had had the same fears as his sidekick. “I also had feelings similar to Emma's,” he admitted, realizing that the cast members had the same fears without ever talking about them.

A few years ago, the producer David Heyman had already revealed that Emma Watson had several times thought of leaving the adventure.
