China News Service, Kunming, July 17th (Reporter Hu Yuanhang) The provincial headquarters of Asian elephant safety precautions for the northward movement of Yunnan Province reported on the 17th that from 17:00 on July 16 to 17:00 on July 17, the elephant herd moved to the northeast. It moved around 3.4 kilometers in a small area, and continued to move in the woodland near Longwu Town, Shiping County, with sufficient food and water sources.
The elephants are within the monitoring range, and the human elephants are safe.

The on-site headquarters was operating normally. A total of 203 emergency response personnel and police were deployed that day, 60 muck trucks, 6 excavators, 130 emergency vehicles, 18 drones were dispatched, 796 households with 3,120 people were evacuated, and 4.12 plantains were evacuated. Tons, 1480 people were advised to return 380 vehicles.
