China News Service, Kunming, July 16th (Reporter Hu Yuanhang) The provincial headquarters of Asian elephant safety precautions for the northward movement of Yunnan Province reported on the 16th that from 17:00 on July 15 to 17:00 on July 16, the elephant herd generally moved to the southeast. It traveled 2.86 kilometers in a roundabout way and continued to move in the woodland near Longwu Town, Shiping County.

On the same day, the on-site command center invested a total of 224 emergency response personnel and police forces, dispatched 110 muck trucks, 130 emergency vehicles, and 18 drones, evacuated 897 households with 3758 people, fed 2.86 tons of elephant food, and advised 478 vehicles to return 1586 people in the car.
