Indian actor Abhishek Bachchan has announced the recovery of his wife, Indian movie star Aishwarya Rai and their eight-year-old daughter Arayaia from Covid-19 illness and discharge from hospital after spending ten days there.
Abhishek and his father, the famous superstar Amitabh Bachchan, 77, are still recovering from the disease, which was caused by the emergence of the Coronavirus in a hospital in Mumbai.
"Aishwarya and negative HIV tests came out of the virus, and they've been discharged from the hospital and you're going to be at home. My dad and I are still in the hospital under the care of the medical team," Abhishek wrote on Twitter. Members of the Bachchan family have become the most famous epidemic in India.
Amitabh Bachchan and his son were confirmed infected on July 11. Ray's and her daughter's tests were positive the next day, but they had not been hospitalized until July 17 after they showed symptoms of the disease, according to local media.
