Monday, the mayor of Strasbourg had declared against a postponement of the return to school, announced for May 11 at the national level. In Haguenau, the mayor (app. LR) Claude Sturni announced that he would propose this Wednesday evening to the mayors of the agglomeration community to postpone this resumption of classes for at least a week.

After having received, Monday, the health protocol of the National Education and having taken note of recommendations, Tuesday, of the rectress of Strasbourg, Claude Sturni considers "that it is not reasonable in these conditions to calmly prepare this return to class for the week of May 11, as mentioned by the government ”.

"Guarantee the necessary security"

The mayor of Haguenau is considering "a reopening potentially from May 18 and gradually, starting with the level of CM2". A deadline allowing, according to him, "to ensure the applicability of all the measures recommended by the State and thus to guarantee the necessary security before the schools reopen".
