Chiba University of Science was established 20 years ago by Kake Gakuen, an educational corporation headquartered in Okayama Prefecture, following an invitation from the city. In order to ensure its continued existence, we requested the city to transform it into a public university.



The city initially planned to hold a committee of experts and others in January this year to begin deliberations, but the meeting was postponed due to reasons such as ``discussions with the school are not yet in place'' regarding how the university should be managed. I was there.

The committee plans to compile an opinion on whether the transition is possible by this summer.
