An earthquake of magnitude 4.9 occurred off the coast of Kamchatka

“A seismic event of magnitude 4.9 occurred on Thursday morning (April 23. - RT ) local time. Its epicenter was located in the Pacific Ocean at a depth of almost 44 km, 177 km southeast of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, ”the representative of the service said.

In March, an earthquake of magnitude 7.2 was reported in the Pacific Ocean off the Kuril Islands.
