The Beijing News previously reported that on April 18, the bodies of four children aged 5 to 11 were found in the earthwork piled up in Shenghefu Community, Yuanyang County, Henan Province. According to preliminary judgment, the dead may be suffocated by earth pressure. Seven relevant persons in charge, including Wumou, the legal representative of the project, have been controlled for investigation.
The Beijing News reporter learned from Yuanyang Housing and Urban-rural Construction Bureau that the unit concerned had not obtained a construction permit and was ordered to suspend work for rectification three days ago. A document from the original Xing Subdistrict Office showed that the street had issued a special governance action notice in the field of construction, and the governance continued from April 10 to May 8.
The relevant person in charge of the investigation team told the reporter of the Beijing News that the case is under discussion. "This is a criminal case. The report was a case of personal injury or death."
