In April, actor Masatoshi Nagase, who is also a tourism ambassador for Ehime Prefecture, was selected as a new runner for the Torch Relay of the Tokyo Olympics in Ehime Prefecture.

The Torch Relay of the Tokyo Olympics will be held in Ehime Prefecture on April 22 and 23, with a total of 174 runners running approximately 30 kilometers.

So far, 52 runners recommended by the local government have been announced, and in addition, Ehime Prefecture announced on March 13 that he has chosen actor Masatoshi Nagase as one of the group's runners.

It means that the actual running section has not been decided yet.

Mr. Nagase played the role of director of Matsuyama City's high school baseball in a movie depicting exchange between Japan and Taiwan through baseball.
