Victim of a heart attack last November, Henri DA came close to death. In an interview with Le Figaro, the Swiss singer confided in this accident which could have been dramatic, and on the fact that his wife saved his life.
“We were watching The Irishman . I had a funny movement. She thought I was joking. In reality, it was a cardiac arrest, "he explains, adding that his wife Nathaly then gave him a seven-minute cardiac massage. Despite two broken ribs and sternum, it is this massage that Henri From owes his life.
"Why not die on stage, that would be funny"
He was then hospitalized and plunged into an artificial coma for two days. Then very quickly, Henri DA felt the desire to go out. “At the hospital, I was untenable. They put pipes everywhere and I wanted to tear them out. I dreamed of escaping, he explains. I fled at 5 am in the rain. Slowly so as not to be surprised by the nurses. It took me an hour to get home, catching my breath every five paces. "
Since the singer is getting better, he has notably converted to metal music and has several projects for the coming months: "I'm leaving with my solo show in March in Belgium. It's a concert where I'm alone with my guitar in front of 1,500 people. (…) Then, I would like to put together a musical which will be called La Petite Charlotte with my songs. And above all, I want to keep singing. And why not die on stage, that would be funny ”But a bit traumatic for his audience, right?
