On top of that, he said, “I can't see criminal liability lightly, but I acknowledge the fact and reflect on it,” he said, and sentenced him to imprisonment for 1 year and 6 months and 3 years of probation.

According to lawyers, Defendant Hotta has a policy not to appeal.
