His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has received US Treasury Secretary Stephen Mnuchen.

During the meeting, Shaikh Khalifa welcomed the US Secretary of State and discussed bilateral relations between the UAE and the United States and ways of developing them to serve the common interests of the two friendly countries in the financial, investment and trade aspects and the future opportunities to develop them.

The two sides also reviewed the joint efforts of the two countries and their active role in drying up the sources of financing terrorism in all its forms. In addition to exchanging views on regional and international developments and their implications and a number of issues of common concern.

The meeting was attended by National Security Advisor Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Secretary General of the Supreme National Security Council Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Customs Commissioner Ali Saeed Matar Al Neyadi, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority Khaldoun Khalifa Al Mubarak and Undersecretary of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed Mubarak Al Mazrouei.
