The Arab ministerial consultative meeting in Riyadh called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza (SPA)

The consultative ministerial meeting regarding the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip was held in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, yesterday evening, Thursday, with the participation of the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt, Jordan, and the UAE, in addition to the Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization.

The meeting stressed the necessity of ending the war on Gaza, reaching an immediate and complete ceasefire, ensuring the protection of civilians, and the necessity of lifting all restrictions that hinder the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip. It also stressed support for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), and urged all its supporters to do their part. towards refugees.

The meeting's final statement pointed to the importance of taking irreversible steps to implement the two-state solution. He stressed the recognition of the State of Palestine on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital, in accordance with the relevant international resolutions. He also stressed that the Gaza Strip is an integral part of the occupied Palestinian territory, and declared the rejection of all forced displacement from the Gaza Strip.
