The Central Bank of Russia announced the growth of inflation expectations of Russians

“Inflation expectations of the population in August 2022 increased, but remained in the range of April-July.

The median estimate of inflation expected in the next 12 months was 12%,” the Central Bank said in a statement.

At the same time, it is noted that short-term price expectations of enterprises continued to decline, returning to the values ​​of mid-2020.

Earlier it became known that the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia predicts inflation of 13.4% by the end of 2022.
