A bath in the Königsbachfall in the Berchtesgadener Land ended for two 21-year-old deadly. That is what the police said.
Accordingly, the two men from Saxony went swimming in a basin of the Königsbach Falls on Tuesday evening, only a few meters above the Koenigssee. As a result, they apparently did not manage to leave the pelvis again.
The waters leading into the Königssee currently lead a great deal of meltwater. Police may have underestimated the strong meltwater in the washed-out basin.
Another person on the ground had alerted the emergency services. The forces, however, could only recover the lifeless bodies of the two men. To clarify the cause of the accident, investigations were started.
