In an effort to prevent damage from a method of forcing children to take "selfies" of obscene appearances through SNS, police officers visited a junior high school in Nagoya City on the 24th and called for the attention of new first-year students.

The Nakamura Police Station conducted the event, and seven police officers visited a junior high school in Nakamura Ward, Nagoya City, and about 7 new first-year students who enrolled this spring participated.

First, he warned that police officers are getting to know children on SNS, getting to know them about their problems, and then taking "selfies" of obscene appearances and sending them are spreading.

Next, an app developed by the police and others to prevent damage from selfies was introduced, and the students actually experienced a function such as AI = artificial intelligence detecting when an obscene selfie is taken using a tablet and prompting the deletion of the image.

A first-year male student who participated said, "I want to be careful not to get into trouble such as sexual abuse and bullying by smartphones."

Another first-year female student said, "At first, I felt that it didn't matter much to me, but after listening to the story, I thought it would be better to include an app in case of emergency."
