Beijing, April 4 (Zhongxin Net) -- The "Pinghu School Pipa Art Performance Talent Training" project funded by the Beijing Culture and Art Fund opened in Beijing on the 11th, which is the first centralized, large-scale, high-standard and high-standard business training for the "Pinghu School" pipa art in China.

The "Pinghu School" pipa art began from the fifth dynasty of Li's family in the Qing Dynasty (later by Li Qiyu and Li Fangyuan's father subset), and continued the inheritance paradigm of north-south convergence, eclecticism and standardized notation opened by Hua Qiuping's "Pipa Score" (commonly known as "Hua's Spectrum"), absorbing nutrients from traditional Chinese music and traditional culture, and based on rich accumulation, extensive exchanges and teaching and performance practices, it has nurtured and created many large-scale pipa suites with profound themes, complete structure, rich techniques and beautiful musical sentences. The thirteen sets of pipa songs in the "New Scores of the Thirteen Great Songs of the Northern and Southern Schools" published in 1895 are an important symbol of the peak of the development of pipa art in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and are also the actual source of many "ancient songs" played today. In 2008, the pipa art of the "Pinghu School" was selected into the list of representative items of national intangible cultural heritage.

Mr. Zhu Ying (Xingqing), a representative figure of the Pinghu School, opened the precedent of modern music education in pipa. He trained Ding Shande, Tan Xiaolin, Yang Dajun, Yang Shaoyi, Fan Boyan, Chen Gongze, Wang Rongchen and so on.

According to reports, this training will take the pipa master Yang Shaoyi as the core figure in studying and learning the art of pipa of the Pinghu School. Yang Shaoyi has devoted his life to the inheritance of the Pinghu school pipa art, and he is the most outstanding and influential person in the Pinghu school pipa in the past 70 years.

The training objects of the project are mainly for key pipa teachers and practitioners in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, aiming to enable students to understand and master the pipa playing skills and profound traditional cultural connotation and aesthetic spirit embodied in the "Pinghu School" pipa art while learning and playing the classic repertoire of the "Pinghu School" pipa art. The training period is from April 4 to June 10 (non-consecutive classes), and the training is carried out in a combination of online and offline mode, of which the concentrated training time is 6 days.

The teaching force of this training can be described as heavy, not only famous musicologists such as Wang Cijiao, Tian Qing and Qiao Jianzhong, but also composers and professors with outstanding achievements in music creation and education such as Qin Wenchen, Bao Yuankai, Sun Weixi, and other disciples of Mr. Yang Shaoyi, Li Jianzheng, He Mingwei, Liu Xifeng and others.

As the leader of the project, Professor Zhang Hongyan, director of the National Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection and Research Center of the Central Conservatory of Music and director of the Folk Music Department of the Central Conservatory of Music, said that the inheritance, development and dissemination of art, from family to society, from genre to modern music education, we found that in this process, we always need to constantly look back and constantly look back at the source, so as to draw wisdom and strength from it. "Learning genres and transcending genres is the responsibility and mind of musicians of our time and the Central Conservatory of Music." (End)
