[Explanation] Pinghu Railway Station in Shenzhen, Guangdong. For more than a hundred years, the people of Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Hong Kong have shared the same interests and traveled together on this artery. The opening of this station is inseparable from a special figure - Liu Zhubo, the founder of Pinghu Ruins.

[Explanation] From the late 19th century to the early 20th century, Liu Zhubo, who was born in Pinghu, Shenzhen and grew up in Hong Kong, was active in Hong Kong's political and business circles and made great contributions to Hong Kong's business, education, health and charity. At the same time, Liu Zhubo also always cared about his hometown Pinghu.

At that time, there was no Pinghu Railway Station. It went directly from Tangxia to Shenzhen. Then Liu Zhubo took this opportunity to actively lobby the Guangdong and Hong Kong governments. With his efforts, Pinghu Railway Station was finally built. However, the funds for the construction of this railway station were funded by Liu Zhubo himself, so Liu Zhubo was hailed as the "Father of Pinghu Railway Station" by the people of Pinghu. After Liu Zhubo solved Pinghu's traffic problem, he planned to cultivate talents and build schools for Pinghu. The new school was located near Pinghu Railway Station. In order to commemorate his mother's nurturing grace, he named the new school Ji Yulao School.

[Explanation] Liu Zhubo had great reputation and status at that time. The governments of Guangdong and Hong Kong accepted his suggestion. In 1911, this railway line connecting Hong Kong and the mainland was opened, and Pinghu became the first station for trains to enter Shenzhen.

[Explanation] At the beginning of the 20th century, Hong Kong's industry and commerce developed rapidly, attracting a large number of mainland businessmen and craftsmen to make a living. The descendants of Pinghu who immigrated to Hong Kong returned to their hometown and made outstanding contributions in many aspects such as medical care and education. Today, young people from Hong Kong have returned to work and start businesses, which has also led to the improvement of Pinghu science and technology.

So after arriving in Hong Kong, the people in Pinghu are actually quite hard-working. Some of them have developed better, so they feed back their hometown and come back to invest in construction. Then some people come back to set up factories. Now there is a big difference from the traditional industry in the past. In the past, it was all processing of supplied materials, but now there are more technological innovations.

[Explanation] More than 100 years have passed, and Pinghu's transportation now extends in all directions. As one of the nine major hubs in Shenzhen, Pinghu Station will jointly build a hub system with Guangming, Futian and other stations. Hong Kong people in Pinghu lamented, "In the past, people in Pinghu went to Hong Kong for consumption, but now, Hong Kong people come to Shenzhen for consumption and entertainment." After a century of great changes, Liu Zhubo’s original intention has been realized.

We hold several activities every year to invite Hong Kong students and young people to come back to start ventures and invest. First, we take them to experience it and visit Qianhai, Longgang, and Bao'an. Many places are worth visiting, so we have many activities every year. First of all, we must get to know each other. The motherland, now the motherland and Shenzhen are developing by leaps and bounds.
