• TV From Ana Blanco to Carlos Franganillo: RTVE, forced to broadcast how much its presenters charge

Neither Ana Blanco, nor Carlos Franganillo. Despite the tug of the ears that the Transparency Council gave to RTVE at the beginning of March after its reluctance to reveal the salaries of its main faces, the public entity continues to keep secret the caches of some of them. However, and after a long battle, it has revealed on Tuesday what 15 of its stars charge.

According to the information to which Public has had access after a petition on the Transparency Portal that led to the resolution of the Council, the highest salary among RTVE presenters in 2022 was that of Eva Soriano, who charged 11,000 euros for each broadcast of La noche D, a format that she inherited from Dani Rovira and that disappeared from the grid last summer due to its low audiences.

Just below Soriano are the three presenters of MasterChef, Jordi Cruz, Pepe Rodríguez and Samantha Vallejo-Nágera, who according to the information revealed by RTVE charge 10,000 euros per program in the different versions of the culinary contest. The economic journalist Javier Ruiz does not fall short either: 5,000 euros for each edition of Las claves del siglo XXI, the current affairs and political debate program that was broadcast between January and June 2022, with an average audience of 4.7%.

The cache of Alaska is also high, which charges 4,000 euros for each Cine de Barrio, and Santiago Segura, who lends his voice to Viaje al centro de la tele, has a salary per program of 2,200 euros. The caches are linked to the person. Thus, while Anne Igartiburu charges 1,550 euros for each issue of Corazón, her substitute Cristina Fernández only receives 398.08 euros.

Although RTVE has refused to reveal the salary of Marc Sala in La hora de la 1 because it considers that it would violate its data protection by being staff workers, it has made public that of his partner, Silvia Intxaurrondo: 700 euros each time he presents the program.
