On March 11, after the call of an
Extraordinary Council
to precisely vote and approve the signing of Broncano, that war that until then was only talked about in television circles was evident when

, in charge of bringing the signing proposal to the councilors , decided to abstain and give the Public Corporation a few days to renegotiate a contract with which neither she nor a good part of the councilors seemed to agree, despite the fact that, according to RTVE sources, days before she had verbally given her approval.
That abstention, which momentarily paralyzed the signing of Broncano - a signing in which Moncloa has shown its efforts to try to put a dent in
El Hormiguero
and Pablo Motos - was labeled "betrayal" causing the

sources assure that Elena Sánchez has no intention of resigning and nor will her dismissal be decided, especially taking into account that six of the councilors - three from the PP, one from the PSOE and another from the PNV - They are salient. That is to say, her position ends on March 31 and other directors would have to be elected, something that at the moment seems unfeasible, so the directors will remain in office.
