On the evening of the 13th, there was an accident in which a retaining wall adjacent to a construction site in Setagaya Ward, Tokyo, collapsed.


No one was injured, but the ward has called on nearby residents to evacuate.

According to the Metropolitan Police Department, after 4:00 pm on the 13th, an adjacent retaining wall collapsed at the construction site of an apartment building in Seijo, Setagaya Ward.



No construction work was being carried out at the time, and no one was injured in the accident.



A house is built on top of the retaining wall, and Setagaya Ward is calling on nearby residents to evacuate.



According to the ward, the site is not included in the landslide warning area.



The site is a residential area about 900 meters southeast of Seijogakuen-mae Station.



The Metropolitan Police Department and others are confirming the detailed situation and investigating the cause of the collapse of the retaining wall.
