Children have been selected to appear alongside Dany Boon and Jérôme Commandeur in Fred Cavay's next film, partly shot in the Dordogne, in the town of Monpazier.
The feature film team, entitled
Roxane, was
looking for three young extras aged 6 to 11, reports France Bleu Périgord on Monday.
A story of murder in 1641
Applications were open until Thursday, but the production finally found its extras before that date.
Selected for their "not shy" and "dynamic" side, as the production wanted, the children will shoot for a day next February or March.
According to AlloCiné, the film takes place in 1641 and will tell the story of Camille, a 16-year-old teenager, and her dog Roxane.
The young girl finds herself accused of murder by a prosecutor and will call on a lawyer to defend her.
