A "primitive" tiger bites his female partner, and she dies instantly

A female tiger has died in the English county of Merseyside, after being bitten by a male tiger during a supervised breeding session at a popular safari park.

And Amor Senda, 14 years old, was bitten during the mating session by the male tiger Meron, which is not his first victim, and she died instantly.

And in 2018, when Miron was living at Copenhagen Zoo, he fatally injured another female tiger.

Session observers said that no signs of aggression were detected by their panel of experts, and that previous promiscuity sessions over two years had gone well.

"We are sad to announce the loss of Cinda, who was fatally injured while being mixed with our male tiger, Miron, as part of a European breeding programme," the zoo said in a statement.

Because of the speed of the accident, there was nothing that could be done to intervene, and Senda died instantly of her injuries.
