  [Concurrent] Macau doctor Zheng Junmeng

Hello everyone, I am Dr. Zheng Junmeng, I am from Macau, a registered doctor in Macau, and now I am a consultant doctor of Macau Jinghu Hospital, and I am also a cardiovascular surgeon at Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University.

[Explanation] Zheng Junmeng is from Macau. He is one of the few doctors in China who have obtained both heart transplant qualifications and lung transplant qualifications. He is also one of the first to obtain the qualifications.

Originally wanting to be an architect, he changed his mind when his parents suffered a serious car accident when he was young.

At that time, there were two choices. One followed my inner choice and wanted to become an architect, but the other choice was that I also considered the first one and also admired doctors.

Because when I was very young, my parents had a serious car accident and they received good treatment, so in my mind doctors and nurses are very noble, and this is a very noble profession.

[Explanation] In the medical field, cardiothoracic surgery technology is recognized as a cutting-edge medical technology in the medical field, and cardiac surgery can be said to be the crown of surgery, with complicated operations and high risks.

This is exactly what Zheng Junmeng has devoted himself to researching. He has completed 3 cases of heart transplants for Macau patients in Guangzhou.

The close cooperation between doctors in Guangdong and Macao has brought new life to patients through the green channel.

We cooperate closely with doctors from Guangdong and Macao. We are the ambulances of the two places handing over at the Gongbei gate in Zhuhai. For such a serious patient, he is a middle-end heart disease patient and uses ECMO to assist him. The patient is transported again for a heart transplant.

This makes me feel deeply.

[Explanation] In the past 10 years, cardiac and vascular surgery in the Mainland has developed rapidly, and has reached the international advanced level in many key technical fields.

This is also inseparable from the efforts of a group of experts and professors such as Zheng Junmeng. At the same time, the development of medical specialties in the Mainland also attracts young people and medical workers from Hong Kong and Macao to study and further study.

I feel very deeply that this clinical work can be carried out well here.

The current construction of the Greater Bay Area is also promoting exchanges in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in terms of medicine. There are more and more exchanges. Now, whether it is the medical community, the exchanges between our doctors and nurses, and the patients, we will also take the initiative to go to the mainland. Seeking a doctor, there are many.

[Explanation] Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, where Zheng Junmeng is located, is the birthplace of Chinese Western medicine. In recent years, the mainland has made rapid innovations in clinical research and translational medicine, which is why Zheng Junmeng is constantly improving here.

In the future, he hopes that physician registration and education and training in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area can be unified to break down institutional barriers and promote the rapid development of the "Healthy Bay Area".

  Because life comes first.

Therefore, the management of health care and medical care around the world is quite rigorous and strict.

We hope that the country will try to unify the registration and training of the three places in the Greater Bay Area, Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau, which is conducive to the flow and exchange of medical talents.

In this way, we can communicate with each other, create and improve together, and build a better health cause in our Greater Bay Area.
